The following are the dates for monthly working bees for the rest of the year. These are alternated these across Saturdays and Sundays to help ensure people with regular commitments are able to attend some across the year.

All working bees are held from 10am to 12noon, followed by a short catch up and debrief - BYO cuppa and treats.

KCG plotholders and confirmed members are invited to join the following dates:

• 26 April 2026 - Sunday

• 23 May 2026 - Saturday OFFICIAL OPENING 

  • Saturday 23 May will include a workshop session facilitated by Kat Lavers, an organic gardening and permaculture expert, with a lot of experience supporting community gardens. Kat will be running a hot composting session to teach us how to turn our large weed pile into nutrient-rich compost for the shared garden beds. Kat will also lead a tree planting demonstration, showing how to properly plant and care for fruit trees in the shared spaces. All plot holders and members are welcome to attend.

  • Sunday 20 December will be our social end of year gathering, and involve a BBQ.
